29 January 2008 is my 23rd B'day!! Wow! Time really flys! I'm 23 years old already!!

My b'day celebration started way before my b'day.. haha.. Sheena was the first person to celebrate for me.. we met at Vivo City for Bens n Jerry Ice Cream and she gave me my present (a puma top) wrapped with a very pretty wrapping paper and a very pretty card. Thanks gal for your gifts! I like them alot! ;)

Sheena did some adobe photoshop to the images but I didn't use those because I prefer those original ones more.. thanks gal for ur effort though. Maybe u like to see the features of ourselves clearer but I prefer those blur blur kinda look.. hee.. anw, looking at my skin at that time, I feel quite sad.. coz I'm down with chicken pox now.. n my skin is horrible.. think next time I go out, have to wear long sleeves and wrap myself up already.

Following that, Dear brought me to eat Jap food on the sat night before my b'day at this Jap restaurant at Central Mall, Waruku. We went to eat there all because my sis recommended it.. saying it's cheap n nice.. but I feel that the food is not that nice and it's expensive!!! Definitely not worth going there again.. haha.. :p

The next day, Huiling (Dear's fren) treated us to MOF at Marina Sq. coz she got her 1st pay! Happy for her.. she's working at DSTA now.. *cool*

The food I ordered.. before and after I open the covers.. the way they serve the food is very pretty and unique and the food is real delicious.. worth going there again!! :)

The day before my b'day, I went to Jurong Point to watch 27 dresses with Zihui and Leonard! Zihui gave me a pair of ear-rings and a very pretty card and I was very touched because she left it on my desk and I only saw it after I woke up and brushed my teeth on my b'day. Leonard didn't give me anything but zihui says just take the nachos which he bought as a gift for me! haha.. so dun need to pay him back.. *grinz* Actually dun need gifts also can.. they accompany me go and watch a nice movie, I very happy already! *smilez*

On the actual day of my b'day, I went Vivo-City with Dear to watch movie.. Atonement, which Zihui says it's not bad although she hasn't watched it.. to our surprise, it's a british film!!! Very happy because Dear gave me a white handbag and a bouquet of 11roses (supposed to be a dozen Dear says but the auntie only gave 11). All these are just materials goods.. only made up a bit of my happiness.. hee.. the rest of my happiness is because we managed to rush down from school to catch our movie and we even smuggled Long John Silver to eat inside the cinema! We ran up and down Vivo-City like crazy to buy our tix and our dinner.. so funny! Hmm.. I like going Vivo-City on weekdays because there's nobody there! The whole shopping center very empty and I like that instead of the usual rowdy weekend crowd.

The last few stalks of roses from the 11 roses.. my dad put them in a big vase when I brought them home that day but most of them died already.. leaving these few stalks.. I forgot to take photo of them in the big vase.. so here are the remaining few in a small container which my dad shifted them into.

Lastly, I would like to thank all the people who sms-ed me to wish me happy b'day.. Dear, my sis, shufang, violet, zihui, boonie, and shawn. I appreciate all these.

Day 8 - 4th Jan 2008

In the morning, Dear woke me up to give me eat medicine then left with Desmond to do some last min shopping. I slept with Lifen until noon then woke up, bathed and left for the airport. We took the Maglev Train and the whole trip to the airport only took less than 10mins as compared to the first day 1hr plus bus ride! The maglev train is cool.. it runs on magnetic field!
